PUBG Mobile banned in India?

The government of India might ban PUBG Mobile very soon.

The Indian government is inspecting PUBG Mobile along with 257 more applications after the recent ban of TikTok and 58 more Chinese applications due to security and user privacy concerns.

PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular games in India and the world with over 100 million downloads on Google Playstore developed by a South Korean video game company ‘Bluehole’. But the catch here is that the Chinese giant Tencent holds a certain amount of shares in ‘Bluehole’ which knocks the doors of security agencies in India.

Earlier on PUBG Mobile, many Indian parents filed a complaint against PUBG Mobile by saying the game was addictive in nature and the children were spending a huge amount of time on PUBG Mobile.

A 16-year-old teen died of cardiac arrest after playing PUBG Mobile for six hours at a stretch reported by ‘Times of India’.

Pakistan recently lifted the temporary ban on PUBG Mobile which was placed after the complaints by some parents who said the game was addictive.
